Teenagers Driver Education and Training

The Respected Motor Vehicle Registry, NT requires that anyone at the age of 16 who wants a Driver’s License should read and understand the laws and road rules from NT Road Users Handbook and then pass a theory test to get their Learner’s License’L’, which must be held at least for six consecutive months. During this six month period, before upgrading to a Provisional License ‘P’ and doing a Practical Test, the learners can learn to drive from our professional, experienced and qualified driving instructors opting from our various packages specially designed for beginners.

Grown-ups Driver Education and Training

Overseas License Holders

With Overseas License Holders, The Respected Motor Vehicle Registry, NT requires that anyone who wants a Driver’s License should read and understand the laws and road rules from NT Road Users Handbook and then pass a theory test to get their interim license with condition ‘X’. With this type of license, the license holder can only drive.
  • with a full license holder
  • Cannot drive above a speed 80 Km/hr
  • Should have a BAC of zero
With an interim license, a learner can do a Practical Test as soon as they are ready. We recommend at least a Three Lesson Package for X Condition license holders.

Refreshers/ Elderly

Our refresher courses cover a wide range of driving situations. Bespoke courses are designed to provide help and support to drivers:
  • wishing to improve existing skills, or indeed to learn new driving techniques, with a view to saving money by reducing motoring costs
  • who want to overcome a motoring fear such as motorway driving, driving at night, driving in poor weather conditions
  • who experience changes to their personal circumstances, placing additional reliance on travelling by car
  • wishing to increase their confidence following involvement in a road traffic incident
